And remember it hasn't had as much playtesting as the other D20 games, there are still issues to be discovered and ironed out. with the rules and such. Give them time to tune it up a bit. None of the issues I have stated above have to do with playtesting. I have no idea why you included this as an ...

No I don't think the wealth system to be nonsensical. I'm just used to the SR version of starting wealth where a begging character can basicly live a life of luxury. Modern causes the characters to start out like normal people. As for not incorporating rules from anything but the D&D rules, that...

D20 Modern - Remarks, comments?

I like it, but the wealth system takes a little getting used to. Starting characters rarely can afford most equipment without spending wealth points. And very few are gonna own wheels or a home. But other than that it seems to be a decent version of the system that works well for several types of mo...

One of the reasons that I think Writer's Circle is failing [IMO, it is] - and this isn't aimed directly at you, Wildhuntsman - is that many of the authors aren't giving much detail about what sort of feedback they're looking for or giving any background information on the piece. And while I know th...

And a tangential point is that it's hard to take you seriously when you refer to every female as "prettys" (sic). It serves merely to make you look unselective, desperate, and faintly creepy -- at least for me, it brings to mind an image of a faintly Gollum-ish little man, rubbing his han...

Varmint rifles are not accurate at 300+ yards and some of these shots are said to have been at ranges of 730+ yards. Evan Varmit hunting tends to take place at ranges betwen 400 and 600 yards, especially against prarie dogs. An M-16 which is not a varmit grade rifle is acurate out to 600m with iron...

Evan: they sell rifles chambered for the .223 as varmit rifles (which is most likely what he is using). They are available over the counter.

Caz: .233 is a popular varmit round, and is also popular for plinking due to the abundance of military surplus ammo.

I wonder how effective the shepherding will be in countries where you are free to pick a religion. How do you add legislation based on what one church sees as a sin, and yet is considered by others to not be a sin. (think polygamy <sp?> )

Size matters not.

And there are small sized starfighters (mainly some bombers), and tiny sized transports as well.

The Lambda is classified as a transport.
