Geist sighed audibly, much to the displeasure of those actually interested in the movie. He was already upset with Lynch for making him work with Jack; Jack using ritual sorcery was going to be a bigger headache than he was usually willing to deal with. He picked up the envelope containing the creds...

The In Character Forum for this campaign is now OPEN. The introductory post includes some information about some NPCs of which the PCs might not be aware; I trust that you're all in the know about keeping IC and OOC knowledge blah blah blah. Feel free to post whatever about your characters as long a...

(IC) Darkest Before the Dawn

Despite the bitter cold and the suffocating darkness of the winter night, Alysan Hague walked along the mountain pass free of both fear and discomfort; the night was Shar's time, and Alysan knew that the Lady of Loss would watch over her servant. Alysan's confidence was justified, since in addition ...

OK, disregard my last post... we will DEFINITELY be playing this Sunday afternoon as soon as James gets out of work. I've made Sam's character already. If anyone needs to borrow any books or just needs to hear some information, let me know.

We are going to be playing our first session of this campaign on Tuesday, March 23rd. If you are playing this session, please have a character FINISHED by Tuesday evening. If not, that's fine, too, but there will be no retroactive experience; you only get rewarded for the sessions in which you parti...

[OOC] Darkest Before the Dawn

This is the out-of-character forum for our Dungeons & Dragons: Forgotten Realms campaign. Please post anything that is not part of the story HERE, and not in the in-character forum. This includes character concepts, questions, comments, times we can get together to play, etc. I would like a char...

Geist took his attention away from the bar's crowd once Lynch mentioned money. With a long drag from his cigarette and dark smile, he said nothing more than "I'm good."

Geist wears his armored Armante suit into the meet. Paul, you said that security in this place was thorough... if Geist tries to wear his Ares Predators inside, will they throw him out, or just make him check them at the door? If he can check them, he'll take them in. If not, he'll meet Baby C at th...

Simon grabbed his watch from the endtable and checked it as he walked across the living room... it was just before 6 AM. He exclaimed "Fucking June..." angrily to himself as he closed his black curtains. He had never been a morning person to begin with, and since his recent "lifestyle...

Paulie: I know you've said that you'd be working vampires in this game much like the characters from White Wolf's "Vampire: the Masquerade". Unfortunately, I'm not incredibly familiar with the vampires from the World of Darkness; however, I have been reading what I can on the internet. I a...

Paris Hilton (WARNING! Contains nonsensical ranting!)

Ok, maybe it's just me, but does anyone have a massive problem with Paris Hilton? Does anyone else think it's strange that she has been made a celebrity just because she is wealthy? Am I the only one who thinks it's odd that she (with the help and massive influence of her family) has been portraying...

Hmmm... "Baby" Conrad grew up in an orphanage with nuns, and Universe Man's charater is being built with a heavy "Boondock Saints" influence? *Epsilon grabs his rosary* That sounds like bad news for a vampyre like me! For those of you who don't know, my character will be the grou...

I agree... Hellboy does look pretty decent, and with a little more height, he would make a perfect troll. On a side note, it's worth noting that Monster 01 looks like a koborokuru in real life.

My good friend Buddhist Punk makes a post about this topic, and makes absolutely no reference to the Dust Brothers' "Fight Club" score? Say it ain't so, Jimmy! Also, I have to agree with whoever complained about the lack of RATM... "No Shelter" always kicks ass. And am I mistaken...

In my opinion, the psionics rules are fine (I don't really play with psionics much, but I suppose that's not the point). The only aspect I don't like is the list of powers that the Psychic Warrior class gets. Most of them are Psychometabolic. I suppose the reason they did this is to allow Psychic Wa...
