Someone else will probably give you the exact charges, but he was tried for murdering his pregnant wife and dumping the body in the ocean. The bodies washed up several months later.

My office is mostly open like that, strings of desks all hooked together. It poses some SERIOUS issues. 1) I'm short. The fact that my desk is attached to three others means it can't be lowered to fit me properly, and if it were, my file cabinet wouldn't fit underneath. I've had a keyboard tray, and...

Actually got brave and tried the C2 last night. It was pretty good. Only a very slight aftertaste (not at all like diet coke- which I can't stand). I won't be drinking much of it, more because of caffiene than carbs or calories, but its not too bad. Vast improvement over diet soda.

Hey guys, my friends (of both sexes) call me a bitch and I take no offense. Call me a cunt and I'll be looking for a knife... So, I can understand about the obnoxious qualities of the word. And I've always been partial to "Cum guzzling gutterslut" as an expression of distaste for some peop...

Word usage question (not necessarily work safe)

This is for those outside the US- mostly (but hey, if its a region thing, fill me in)... Most everyone is familiar with the word "cunt"? Aside from the reference to a female's genitals, does it have any other "meaning"? I mean, here to call a woman such a thing is to invite a swi...

My husband told me this when I came home this afternoon, and thinking back, Ronald Raegan is the first president I have any real memory of. He was in his 70s when I was in fourth grade. I remember, because that was the first time I took anything like civics in school, and we studied him. I think I s...

Maybe things have changed in the few years since my house got robbed, but the cops told me that kids exchange the condoms for drugs... Just a thought, since its been about six years since that happened to us.

You know the funny thing about evolution? Most people I have talked to have no trouble with the basic theory- that being that organisms adapt and change over time. Its apparently fine as long as its restricted to the "lower" animals. Mention humans, and suddenly you've opened a nasty can o...

Maybe I'm not southern enough. I know my cousins, and while I'm close with one (he taught me to RP) the thought of doing anything more- intimate- creeps me out in the extreme.

I live in Georgia, and when we got married, we had to have a blood test. Its not that big a deal (I think someone told me once that even if both parties have a STD, they can't marry until its treated). As to that being between the parties involved, what if one had a STD and didn't tell the other? Th...

I love kids, but don't want to have them. This confuses people, especially when they see me with my niece or nephew. I constantly get the "you would be a great mother" comments. And I know my husband would be great as a dad. Doesn't make us any more interested in doing so. I've even been t...

Interestingly, I have a close viewpoint on this topic without being involved in it. My father married a woman who is about halfway between my age and his. But the burning question here is- does abusing one die to make the others behave properly actually work? I have generally cruddy luck with my dice, and would not be above ritual sacrifice as long as it wouldn't be a waste of my time.
