Ryan, how did you fracture your ankles? I have weak ones from pole vaulting in HS, but...KNOCK ON WOOD... I never broke them.

They each got broken by REALLY bad twists. Like, stepping off a driveway and going over on my ankle, getting pushed from behind off of a platform, etc.

Gaijin no baka...

A hanbo is half a BO (3 ft in length or approx 1 meter). It's difficult to use a BO one handed so you use a HANBO. *Smacks both Voz and Memory in the head with the hanbo*

And I'm sure some people here can attest to how much it can hurt being hit with one.
