Here's my sage advice...don't worry about understanding the inside jokes. Just go along with them and they'll soon explain themselves. (More likely, you'll realize they have no purpose other than post-pumping, and you win either way.)

But, to save you some time, I'll give you the short back history of AYE!

It was started over at The Deep Resonance (which I believe is now defunct). We admins (wow, I was an admin...hee hee!) were asked to vote by Brother Justice, our fearless leader.

Of course, since many of us (if not all) were faithful BD posters, a simple vote could not be, well, simple. Thus, AYE! was born.

We dedicated an entire thread both at TDR and here. Eventually both got out of control and had to be stamped out.

I think that should sum it up.
