Huh, I had never thought about the swim bladder... That's a good point. Will it repair itself or is he just done now? He's still alive, and if he puts lots of effort in he can swim forward and eat, but he looks so pathetic twitching in one place...

Look on the bright side, Lin. They could have waited untill you had quit your job, dropped the lease on your apartment, given away most of your appliances/furniture and taken a 14 hour bus-trip to the town you were expecting to work in before telling you that they would not hire you after all. (And then refuse to give any reason why they changed their minds.)

Depends. If he's just eaten himself into some sort of swim bladder disorder, get him into a seperate tank and refrain from feeding him until he shows improvement, then feed him less.
If he managed to explode his swim bladder...well, get a carnivorous fish and you've got yourself a floating buffet.

Today I discovered that I ripped open part of my toe at some point, and it's a tad bit infected.

Diagnosis for hips: bursitis in both, tendinitis in the front, outside, and back tendons around the hips. Worse in the left. Here, have some more painkillers and some physical therapy.
