A Little Announcement, Job-Wise

Hey all,

I wanted to mention it now that it's official - I've been hired on as the Art Director of Seraphim Guard. This small Portland, Oregon RPG enterprise is responsible for HeartQuest, a FUDGE-based shoujo RPG and its first sourcebook, Musical Mistresses. It's a small part-time affair, but it's a start - and something I can put on my resumé. I've already done the first two books and I'm in line to do the rest of them, hopefully getting better as I go.

I guess this is the best place for my own news. This morning I started a new position at a brand spanking new company. While I should be paying attention to the conference call I'm on now, I just HAD to break in the new laptop.

While some of Prescott's work is good, it also looks a little too.... cartoony at times.

Then again, my first exposure to SR and WoD art was Bradstreet, which tends to set one's opinions.

On this subject, I just got a job working for the www.cleanwater.org I'm doing telephone canvasing. In the past week since I've started there I think I've learned more about the actual workings of the US political process and about the EPA than I even dreamed about gleaming from civics class... The scheduling and pay are pretty phat too... :cool
