WHAT THE SHIT?!?!

Is it just me, or does it look like they sold their souls to bad Anime pornstars?

Looks like it's time for the first annual "Bulldrekker Burnination Tour" to start it's road-trip.

Have to agree with AH, I don't think we'd be done until all of the world was in flames.

We didn't start the fire/It's been burning since the world's been turning...

AH: But we DID start the fire.
Reika: Shh. They don't know that.

One sentence in the story - that the cartoon is about Bugs' descendant, Buzz Bunny, makes me think that these aren't supposed to be Bugs and pals. I can deal with that - but if they're actually saying that this is the new Bugs, then light the torches!

What the fuck does this have to do with anime?

Uh huh.

Even if they aren't, it's still money and time they could use to make more Loony / Tiny Toons shorts.
Nexusvoid wrote:What the fuck does this have to do with anime?
Warner Bros. is whoring out the Loony Toons IP to an anime-styled series? Yeah, I'll go with that.

Might be cool if they weren't so damned ugly.

That sound you hear is the sound of a childhood favorite being raped and left for dead in a ditch.

I guess I've got the unpopular opinion again, but I think they look really very cool. :|

"We all flipped for it," David Janollari, president of the Kids' WB, said this week. "We just said, 'Wow, what a great way to take the classic Looney Tunes franchise that has been huge with audiences for decades and sodomise it with a rusty pole.'"

Pft that's not anime. That's Teen Titans, where some idiot said 'anime is popular, right?' and found someone to draw the most over exaggurated american interpretation of anime ever and overused the anime cliches to the point where they didn't even make sense.

It may be good, it may be bad, but its not anime.

Eh - not like I'm watching these days, and I always thought the older Loony Toon characters could use some touching up. If the kids like it, I'd say it's a good deal and if it gets them interested in the original stuff, even better. Consider it a gateway cartoon, you geezers. :p

The best part is, this is probably the first thing CE thought of when he saw the name... :D

I have no emotional attachment to the characters involved, not having been allowed to watch cartoons as a child, so I can only judge the show on its artistic merits, and on that basis, I think it looks appalling from everything I've seen so far.

For what it's worth, I think anyone who isn't a fan of anime - and even those fans of anime who are honest with themselves and others - can see the obvious influences involved. I certainly can.

Sweet! Wonder how long it will take for them to change the characters name or so the maker of that product.

I consider myself something of an otaku, and that fucking thing breaks a very fundamental rule: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

That was without question the single best scene in that movie. The only thing that comes close is when Pedro shaved his head.

That was the best scene in the movie...what comes close is the bit with the farmer and the cow (I'm, a sick bastard that way).
