IRC: KAMB goodness: Tulip Festival!

I'm looking for four to five hungry kobolds that will pariticpate in an IRC game! Yes! HUNGRY KOBOLDS!

Yes! It's time of the year again! King Torg ALL HAIL KING TORG, KING OF ALL KOBOLDS! has decided to have a party again! He wants to have it soon! So naturally, you need babies! Big fat tasty human babies, and lot of 'em! Otherwise, you are going...TO BE SERVED WITH A NICE SIDE DISH!

Muahahahaha!

Mighty kobold explorers have broke through a hole...under the bridge...surrounded by a lot of purple tulips!

(This is your starting point here, and once IRC game takes off...:))

To set up...

Roll 2d6 four times and write down the totals.

B rawn - Is how big, mean, tough and strong your Kobold is. When you want to break something, lift something, hurt something, or otherwise act mas macho you roll against Brawn. Brawn determines how hard your Kobold is to kill, called HITS, and how well they hig, called TOHIT.

E go - Is the intelligence (used here as a relative term), knowledge and self-control (again, relatively speaking) of a Kobold. It determines how well you do at mental feats like casting magick spells, hiding, lighting farm animals on fire, or speaking with humans.

e xtraneous - Is a useless stat, for things like being a cleric of the Big Red God Vor, or constructing a killer deck of mimic bits for the next big tournament! When doing something that has no bearing on killing stuff, getting hurt, or blowing things up, roll against extraneous. extraneous determines your MOVEMENT.

R eflexes - Is how quick, athletic and dextreous your Kobold is. When you want to climb walls, jump, dodge, hit stuff, or run away, you roll against Reflexes. Reflexes determie how good you are at not getting hit, called COMBAT DICE.

And for traits/boggarts...roll 2d6 for each, and I'll figure out something here :) I probably will make up few things.

(boggarts is a bad thing for kobold, and trait is a good thing for kobold, and all kobolds have one of each...unless they're really lucky or unlucky.)

That's all you need to know...*giggle...* *giggles madly*

((Cazmonster: a slot is reserved for you))

Flame you are so cool! I just ordered my own copy of KAMB:3E this weekend and I will be extra good and not look through the Mayor Section until after we play.

Nope. You don't have to read anything, but you can see a sample of KAMB game in bulldrek proper (just remember, this will be IRC game)

OOC: To sack Castle McCall

Bishop, it's the kind of game where you can drink beer, steal babies to be roasted, and if you survive, come out a hero.

by FlameBlade
As I was saying...you only need to know what your kobold needs to know :)

In other words...no real complicated rules. I'm really studying the rules at the moment...grasping the concepts. Also, writing up the adventure.

Basically, as kobolds...you need to go out there and grab babies for...FOOD!

Kobolds are always hungry. Heck, they eat 14 meals a day.
They love beer. Go figure.
They are little, fuzzy creatures that may be...lovable.

by Cazmonster
Or not so lovable as they set your cows on fire and assault your pastoral folk!

Boogah runs about singing Kobold songs and drinking copious amounts of lucious beer.

and then...2d6 for weapons.

Roll 2d6 for armor

Do weapons count against things carried? How about armor?

Weapon counts against. After alll, you carry them in a clawy-hand, right? But armor doesn't count against, because you're wearing it, right?

Gears definitely counts against because you're always carrying them around, right?

AS for your gears

Weapon: Dagger. It looks damn cool!
Armor: Nekkid! GAAAAAAAASSSSSSSP! NAUGHTY!
Items: BAG OF MARBLES! THEY FUN!

Traits: Animal Chum. You're friends with animals. You treat animals well in the past, and animals likes you...except for...

Boggarts: Angry Cow Magnet...there's something about you that really really really honks cows off, and thus, making them come after you...and stampede you to pieces. Yessire. Stampede you to pieces.

Boggart: Chicken Magnet. There's something about you that chickens do not like you. Perhaps when you were young, you hit the bag of chicken holding one time too many, and infinite chickens came out and you somehow heeled it out of here. Ever since, chickens are out, looking for you...not in exactly good way.

NEED ONE MORE PLAYER! (others; go out and look for one to two more player, if possible. First two people who post here will be gauranteed a spot. )

Everyone who reported in, rolled character...let me know what time works best for you. I'm relatively free almost all of the time evenings this week, and all of the time after Sunday. And this is gonna be an IRC game. First, we meet in #bulldrek, then we will go to #KAMB, and have fun there. I'm almost ready to start the game.

Oh by the way...HORRIBLE KOBOLD DEATH will be frequent. Don't worry. You will be given plenty chances to recreate characters. All you have to do is rearrange your BEeR with the rolls that you have (to save time.) I'll assign your guys with weapons, armor, and gear, traits and boggart, then the new kobold is back in game. You will get to retain victory points, but items/skills/outfit will be lost. That way, you guys can keep playing on and on and on until babies are goneeeeeeeeeeeee goneeeeeeeeeee! EATEEEEEEEEEEN!

For roughly the next month, with about a days' warning most of the time, I'm completely open.

Great. Now I need one more player who can play :) Will need assistance in finding elusive player. I think the game will be better if we have four kobolds rampaging around.

I should be free most of the time, but honestly, after this weekend I have no clue. I'm moving home and after that I have incredibly indefinite plans. I have no idea where I'll be in one week, much less one month. In all likelyhood I'll still have a 'Net connection, but really I can't guarantee that. So... yeah, a few days warning is probably a good idea.

I'll be game, but I think a couple of weeks in between is necessary.

I've got a plan... and it's a good one.

YAY FOR RANDOMOCRACY! *Randomly gives Cazmonster Mayor's hat.*
