Jordan Lawlor

Well educated, and from an affluent family Jordan Lawlor was a ruthlessly goal orientated corporate lawyer who ascended the Ares ladder quickly. By 35 he was the CFO of Ares Global Comsat, by 45 he was working for Ares Universal in Detroit as an Executive Vice President.

At 55 Lawlor underwent the first of several rounds of Leonization, and decided to enjoy his prolonged youth, and after a whirlwind romance with an engineer named Wen Jiabao, a chemical and electrical engineer working in South America on a satellite lift projrct.

After marrying and having a child Wen and Jordan seemed to have it all-they had moved to Seattle, where Lawlor could pursue a much more leisurely schedule, and where his wife could still work. Then things came to a screeching halt.

2 years ago his wife and child were kidnapped, and ransomed by a Chinese Triad. Things went terribly wrong, and now his family is missing, presumed dead.

Lawlor wants revenge against everyone involved.

Lifted from an impoverished family in Hong Kong by a Corporate Scholarship from Ares Lifescape she was able to obtain an education and begin work as a Chemical and Electrical Engineer. While working on a space lift project in South America she met Jordan Lawlor, and the two quickly fell in love.

Settling into Seattle they started a family, and everything seemed perfect until her kidnapping by a Chinese Triad, and presumed death.

The 14K League

Based out of Hong Kong the 14k is the third largest Triad in the world, with a presence in every major city in the Pacific Rim, and their fingers into every crime imaginable.

Jimmy Koo

Leader of the 14k League in Seattle, Jimmy Koo is ruthless and goal orientated. He's a virulent racist and hates non Chinese, especially the Japanese and Koreans. An accomplished martial artist, and brilliant tactician he never travels alone.

Wan Kuok-koi

Known as "Broken Tooth Koi" he is believed to be a top level enforcer for Jimmy Koo, and the 14K League.

The Telescope Killer

For the past several years, he's been killing random people in Seattle by utilizing ritual magic on them, Authorities believe from a large distance, generally through some kind of optical magnification device. A faceless killer, wanted by the Authorities for a body count that is well over a thousand now.

18K

A Korean Gangster who runs a pirate television station, who has vowed to push the 14K League out of all Korean neighborhoods in Seattle. 18K is a seriously cybernetically enhanced gangster, who while only standing five feet two inches is dangerous man with serious enhancements.

He is affiliated with the Divine Revenge Seoulpa Ring.

Rock

Micheal Sturm was a Novatech International expediter before his retirement, a serious man with serious skills. His retirement has seen him keeping his fingers in the business running a few stable teams, and sometimes taking on work himself-although that is becoming increasingly rare.

An avid sports gambler, Rock loves American Rules Football, Unlimited League Boxing, and Restricted League Horse Racing.
