Ya know, I spent two years in Germany. In that time I saw tons of teenagers (young ones) in the clubs/ taverns/ bars whatever.

Strangely enough their folks didn't mind letting the kids out to go do whatever. Kids partied like kids do. But it was no big deal.

Now as an American it was strange at first. But I realized after a time that they seemed to have far less problems with their kids. They trusted them more. The kids lived at home longer. And it wasn't abused as much (alcohol). Basically the difference I personally saw was that the problem was with US not trusting our kids and making so many things taboo.

But then we are in the land of puritans.

God bless you, Ampere.

And Erik: it was a treat. I had enough friends over 21 to help me out. Some of those friends wanted to be in law-enforcement after that. They were smart guys. They knew they had to be really friendly to me if they wanted a chance in any PD.

ja sure, you becha.

Unfortunately, of the two years in GE, I was only actually only there one: two 6 mo tours in The Balkans. Macedonia and Kosovo.

Wish I could have spent more quality time in Germany, travelling Europe, seeing stuff.
The climate was the same as here in the Pacific North West. Butthere is absolutely NO culture here.

It was fun while it lasted.

Heh. I'm a Rabbit, apparently.

Where does one find details of the elemental associations of the horoscope?

Oh great. I'm the Wishy-Washy Rabbit, it seems! :)

Actually, I just had a look through some of their other descriptions. They're generally none too flattering, are they?

is it too late to smack Daki for adding his birthday when it was already added to the list he just didn't bother to read it first? bah. like I need a reason. *kicks Daki into the reality dimension and plugs it up with Martha Stewart*

Of course, as far as I can tell, everyone born in the same year is supposed to be the same sign. That seems like the overgeneralization of the century to me.

Mine is the wrong damn country's independence day. Fucking Bastille Day. Damn French.

"We're not supposed to win! We're French!"

July 14th. And no I don't know anyone else's birthday. They're not as important as mine anyway. ;)

Actually, you've been called a Steam Engine....

:D

I always got a kick out of being a Metal Boar. (Which some days is about as accurate as being a Leo....)

Combine East and West and I'm a Metal Fire that fans myself with my own Air and finally puts myself out with my own Negative Water. Little or no tie to Earth. Go me!

Arg! I'm being inundated. ;)

OK The list has been duly updated. We /still/ haven't heard from 3-2 or Liniah. And No one seems to have a birthday in May. *shrug*

*contemplates adding Dv's sister to the list but decides against it. (Unless she starts posting of course ;))*

Sept 5, 1970...
Ok, i'm stuck with Metal Dog. Not much cool there.
Maybe a Steel Pit Bull!

Yeah! That sounds cool.
Better than the weak ass Virgo earthy motherly thing. Too new-agey, hippiefied for me.

I'm a Cancer, and a Tiger, with the element of Water in both astrologies. Most of the descriptions for all three things fit me pretty close!

I've always been quite satisfied with my astrological thingie-ma-bobbies. they really do describe me to the hilt! the only thing I don't agree with is that "they" say my favorite colors are earthy. NOT! purple all the way!

Actually I too have had pretty good luck with horoscpes and the like. Kinda canny sometimes. Dunno if I actually "believe" in such a thing, but then...
