I'm sure Paul knows a few guys in the prison who'd love to if you could pull the strings. ;)

I want to come. Wanting to and being able to are two completely different things, though.

The fun that is in store for me this weekend entails me being at work pretty much all weekend repairing castings for paint masters to send to Seattle Monday for the Mechwarrior release I'm currently repairing tooling masters for. And the tooling masters have to be done by 7PM Friday so they can be in Seattle Monday morning.

Weeeeeeeeeeeee.

Not sure how my schedule is going to work out at the moment. I am still planning on being at the party, but I am not sure when on Saturday I will make it, or if it will be me or me+1...

Or are you still following up Daki?

Hee hee. Actually, it's kind of funny - we know Route 12 pretty well. We've used it to get to my aunt's in Lake Zurich. And yeah, you take Route 12 a long loooooong way.

Ok so now you realize there is no excuse for not coming to visit us whenever you go to your aunts.

We are like 20 min from there.

Hope everyone is having a good time, and the babies are behaving. Wish I was there - someone smooch them for me.

Whups. I don't think we got this in time, lady, but don't worry. I'd be glad to give the kids an extra smooch on your behalf. :)

Thanks to Instant and Jaded for hosting - Caz and I had a really good time, and the boys enjoyed meeting their future worshippers as well. Of course, it was kind of tough, "This is your Uncle Moo, you're not allowed to be left alone with him. This is your Uncle Daki, you're not allowed to be left alone with him either...." :)

For those wishing to label their photos correctly (though I don't know how many pics of the babies got taken, what with all the photos of Jim eating hot dogs there were), Ben was in the blue spotted sleeper, Henry was in the white shirt/green stripey pants ensemble. :)

As a final note: Thanks, you guys, for reminding me why I think Bulldrekkers are some of the greatest people around. Caz and I were really blown away by everyone's generosity toward our babies.

Who says you can't have a baby shower with Rammstein and tequila shooters? Feh.

First off I wish to say mahalo nui loa to IC and Jaded, who were wonderful hosts. Second to Caz and Thorn I wish to say Mahalo Nui Loa for bringing those two very precious people out to met us. Just seeing the two of them brought back some wonderfully happy memories that I had not thought of in many many years.

Official mileage tally...698.9 miles...I will post pics later, right now food, drink and shower are a priority, then possibly sleep. That was definately a wonderful weekend of amazing friends. I truely look forward to the next one.

As if I'm going to let you train my kids in something you aren't training me in? Sh-yeah, right.

Thorn: That's it, you're grounded.
Ben/Hank: Say, Mom, did I show you the nerve pinch Uncle Daki showed me?
Thorn: The wha-? *slump*

So I take it everything was to your liking?

I know we are less than traditional by having the loud music and copious amounts of booze, but we tried to have /some/ traditions there. The decorations where in Jaded's arena while I was in charge of the cooking and musical accompaniment. :)

The fact that you guys where able to make it at all was a huge feat with the newborns. We had our worries. ;)

I hope you get a chance to use some of the swag you scored. Maybe now you can have them in separate cells, I mean playpens, should they ever start thwacking each other.

Very much so, thank you and Jaded (and Moo) very much for throwing us such a lovely bash. Maybe next time I'll even manage to join y'all in the tequila taste-testing. I would have Saturday, but by the time we got there it was already my bedtime - I'd have gotten a mere whiff of the stuff and lapsed into a coma. :)

Oh, don't worry - it was just the right mix of Bulldrek traditions and baby shower traditions. D'you know what my sister wanted to do at my 'traditional' baby shower? Have everyone cut pieces of string that they thought would fit around my (pregnant) belly, and then test them all and whoever got the closest fit would 'win'. I sooooo would have rather she'd just brought some Rammstein instead. :D

You have no idea. Hell, we had no idea. Wow. And, thanks to you guys, we now know we're so not ready to try to take the kids on a 5-hour road trip to visit Caz's folks in a couple weeks.

Hell, I remember taking /one/ kid on a long road trip. Course, this is a Breaker baby we're talking about. And about a 12 hour trip. From Greenville MI to Nebraska. It was fun.

Dirty fuckers. We're not all waiting on my kids to take over the world to change that, are we? Because really, I'm pretty certain that even if somebody else takes over the world first, they'll still be up for it when they're old enough (Caz and I are very strict - no evil masterminding until they're 12).
