Well, yeah, I'm going to be in the area between April 16th-26th!
Teja and myself want to visit you guys.
So, any suggestions on the who/what/where?

I offer my hospitality as host here in Grand Rapids, if that's what everyone would like to do. I don't know what the availability of my house will be - although it's generally quite easy to keep empty - but even if we're not able to spend time here, I know the town quite well, and I think I can keep us in trouble for some time.

I was in Chicago last weekend, but it was a school trip and I didn't really want to get expelled by "getting lost" and hanging out with you guys at Dave & Busters or something.

Once again, you fuckers plan something within a week of Sam being over here. Fuckers.

Been there, done that, about 12,000 times. I love your city, but it's time to pick a new venue.

Locals might want to keep in mind that it's not impossible that this is the closest thing we'll /get/ to a Gathering this year, short of the madness that will be GenCon.

Moo, Chicago is just too far away.
Lansing is a bit of a drive for me, GR even moreso, but seeming that we'd have people coming in from many directions, I think GR would be the best centralized location. What day is best for people? We have that weekend of the 18th-20th as biggest potential for Szech and I to get there.

I don't really know the lay of the land, so I'm just gonna vote for wherever is most central, unless there's entertainment that trumps the inconvenience of driving further.

Well I only suggest Chicago cause it's the only way I can make it. Summer + Construction = no time off.
But whatever works for the most people.

Sorry, Moo. Chicago is just too far.
Alright, I think we're looking at the weekend of the 18th to the 20th or some time around there. Can anyone make it?

Me.
You sure it isn't too far of a drive? We wouldn't want you to go out of your way.....

Damn straight. Great conversation today (For context, it's currently April)....
Moo: I'm sorry, the road is temporarilly closed
Lady: Oh... I guess I'll come back when it reopens. When will that be?
Moo: November.

It was interesting. Didn't get to pick up any hoes on Division Street, but we drove in circles round GR a lot. Listened to cheesy rap music
and ate ice cream. And Paul almost kicked a DJ's ass. And Szech buddied up with the kids. We made an ice cream totem and set it on the porch of this house in GR.
And we watched some of Lord of the Rings. All in all, a good time.
