[Gathering] Pre Drink Con anyone?

So I know many of you are planning to join in the drunken debauchery that is DrinkCon proper, but is anyone interested in having the "Gathering" in Indy as well prior to DrinkCon?
This idea has been tossed around before, as it really requires very little planning. All we need to do is reserve rooms at a Hotel, and that doesn't require down payments from anyone. All we need do is show up on Sunday/Monday and start Drinking. Maybe do some Touristy things around the Indy area.
Maybe expand this, and say we start in Chicago at the "Bulldrek Baby Thing", and then car pool to Indy at some point.

No, but I for one am having a hard enough time just getting Gencon off
I'd love to come up for the week and all, but I don't think its possible

Like we said, people are more than welcome to start drinking at our place prior to heading down to GenCon. We would love to see everyone beforehand. Plus we will have the room to entertain a number of people.
We just need to know beforehand for planning and such.

Well if the maps are anything like last years Hell Map, then yeah, it'll take a minor sodding miracle for us to even get there.

Chicago to Indy. Leave Chicago on a state highway whose number I have now forgotton. Drive for 2 hrs. Stop at the McDonalds and gas station. Its the only place on the entire road, hard to miss :7 drive another 2 hrs. Drive around the loop, miss your exit, try again, arrive downtown

Actually I have made it to indy in 3 hours...
But who is counting.
It is easy, take 294-94-65.
