Starting a second thread. I really hate wading through 200 posts just to throw in my bits :]

Flame: Do you have Dalmuti? If not, I have a set that I'll be bringing (It actually has been in my backpack for over 2 years, so no fear of it getting left behind :)).

I'll also be bringing along Illuminati Delux and a stack of Cheapass Games like Before I Kill You Mr. Bond, U.S. Patent #1, Witch Trial, Deadwood, Get Out!, and Lord of the Fries.

I'll also have some of my buttonmen, most likely, as well as whatever the 2002 edition of the Bull Buttonman turns out to be :]

Oh yeah, and of course, the GI Joes :] Maybe :] (That depends on space and whether or not I'm mobile and drive there at this point :/)

I will be bringing all kinds of fun games, including a special edition set of Lord of the Fries.

Maybe we can get in some Ebola Monkey Hunt too.

No you're not, Ebola Monkey Hunt is the best thing to ever to come to Mankind. You must play, at least once.

Dare I ask about "Lord of the Fries?" :crack

The sequel to "Who's Got the Brain?", one of the coolest games ever. You got to love the idea of a fast food restaurant run by zombies.

You know, with a bit of work, you could make a Kentucky Fried tasties game with that.

Has anyone played "Who's Your Daddy?"

I know very little about it, was curious if it was any good.

Moo: It's Give me the Brain", not WHo's got the Brain :]

Caz: Ebola Monkey Hunt is good? I never picked that one up... We bought several other Placebo Press games a couple years ago (Trailer Park Gods, some Little league baseball one, and something else that I can;t rememebr), and I was very dissappointed with them. The company needs to hire a copy editor really, really badly, and between the games not being that much fun and in one case, the rules being damn near unintelligible (And not just cause of the numerous typos, but outright contradicting themselves in one case)... I've steered clear of PP ever since, and stuck with Cheapass, since they're pretty reliable (SO far, only one CAG I'be Played I didn;t like, and it's name and the fact that it was $2.00 makes up for that: Devil Bunny Needs a Ham).

Actually, in my opinion, Ebola Monkey Hunt is the only good game Placebo Press has ever released.

Anyway, I got the first season of The Transformers on DVD yesterday (Yes, I'm talking about the original Generation One stuff), any interest?

Okay then, interest has been located. Image

Speaking of which, who's bringing a DVD player? Mine isn't exactly portable.

Some of you may be familiar with the General Instruments Digital Cable Converter box, common in most areas which offer digital cable, that's exactly the size of my DVD player, and its slightly heavier.

I'd offer to bring the one in my apartment, but I suspect mom would kill me if she didn't have the dvd player for a week. ;)

Unfortunately the one in my computer is totally non-portable.

Someone could bring a PS2 to play the DVDs. Those are marginally portable, and I figure one's coming along ANYWAY ;)

On that note, who's bringing the TV?...

I don't want to reread all the posts, so I'll just ask again, are we doing paintball?

BTW, If a TV is needed I could bring the 25" bubble screen. It was made in '82 and is round as any fishbowl. It also functions as an end table... (3' high, and about 4' wide.) All I need is a forklift to get it back into the truck... :crack

Um, the cabins have TVs. And cable.

Also, if it really comes down to it, I think Caz and I could bring our DVD player. It's like any other DVD player out there, but as we're closest... it's probably a bit more do-able for us than for most other folks. Though if somebody's bringing a video game system with DVD capabilities anyway, I really would prefer we do that. I'm starting to feel like we're moving, not going on vacation. grin!

I'm wondering how much time will be spent watching TV. Is this a thing very likely to happen?

No.

I wasn't planning on bringing any game systems, but I was going to attempt to detach the DVD player for Adam's manditory 2 hours of anime :) Its just a litle Apex, works fine for DVDs, VCDs, and CDs both audio and mp3 data

If Thorn can't bring hers, then I can bring mine. It's still in the box even. :D

So long as the weather stays nice, I suspect not. Though we did all wind up in Brine's basement watching... whatever that crack-ass thing was.... But still - unless we get a torrential downpour, I think the TV will probably get ignored most of the time.
