No, because she's going to have to sit there explaining what's going on in the anime to me, and I'm going to have to sit there going "That's Bret Hart... watch him work on the guys arm for 8 minutes, then slap him in a submission move.. that's psychology! See where he's whispering in his ear right there? Pretend you didn't see that..."voz wrote: Is that at the same time?

Whack A Caz...
Y'all best friggin run! There's gonna be hatchets and oars and a whole lake I can use to drown whoever decides to hit me with a friggin' rubber mallet.
Actually, I want to spend some time on the lake and I want to get to play KOBOLDS ATE MY BABY at least once.

That's when the mad, passionate lovin' starts. And I will make sure that I get out of the way should Adam and Daki determine they don't agree on something...

Actually, yes--but not like you'd expect.Cash wrote: Not planning on promoting Savage Realm?
And as for getting laughed out of anywhere, the three distributors I've spoken to so far about picking up the lines have been quite encouraging and very interested in the product--particularly *after* I said, "No, it's not D20".
In fact, "sit up and take notice" is probably the best way to describe it.
But, we will be encouraging the game in a low key "awareness campaign".

Caz,
Have you played it?
I don't seem to have a Non-Disclosure Agreement with your name on it...
The only thing you have to go on--at least, legally--is *me*.
Now, you can hate me all you like--it does seem to give you some reason to post, lately--but I'm not the only one involved in the project. And, for you to write it off because you don't like me is about as ludicrous as writing off D&D because you don't like Gygax.
One thing I've learned lately--thanks to GAMA--is that gaming, in general, is really a very small market. In order to grow, to thrive and to draw in new blood, we need to be open to the new developments in the industry.
Savage Realm doesn't compete with any other game on the market, really. We all compete together.
I support Bethy, Adam, et al. in their writing of material to keep the gaming community alive with new products, new ideas, new games, new expansions--and they do the same for other games in the market place.
You don't like Savage Realm because you don't like me. You have nothing else to go on than my attitude, my elitism, my dislike of anything with the letters "D&D"--and you're too damn proud to back down from your previously stated position.
So, fine, don't like it. It's fine with me. I'd prefer it if you'd give it a chance. I'd prefer it if you'd be willing to offer suggestions to make it better.
But, you're not interested in that.
You just want to dislike me.
I ask you a favor, then--and, of course, you have no reason to comply.
Savage Realm is not me. Don't hate it because you hate me. What I have contributed is a very small part and you'll probably never notice it. Give it a chance for the others involved in it. At least 4 other writers and a ton of artists are committed to this project. Just because you don't like me, don't waste their chances, too.

You need to hit the neighborhood Culver's at least 5 times. That stuff is good, or at least it was the last time I went to Wisconsin.
You could play some Cheapass Games(tm), and, alternatively, an old-school Avalon Hill board game (like Diplomacy or Origins of WWII). Buy strange and unusual RPGs, or develop odd scenarios, and use the Bulldrekers as gunea (Genuea? Ginny? the hell with it.) pigs.

ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW!!!!
**MooCow does the Time Warp**
According to a quick google search and some link skipping I found two theaters in Madison and one in Milwaukee that hold it. I'm sure Caz and Thorn know the ones in Madison.
Bulldrekkers at RHPS.... that would be awesome
I'll go in drag if other people do to....

No no, if necessary, I will drag the module into the lake, and, with the help of oxygen deprivation, convince him that he makes a perfect Brad Majors. Then I'll be getting my gold lamé shorts and matching chucks...3278 wrote:3278 pukes.MooCow wrote: ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW!!!!
I will kill MooCow. I will kill MooCow with this cricket bat, which was given to me by Her Royal Majesty Elizabeth Windsor, and then I will kill MooCow again with my own hands.
